Sam Taylor is an animator, illustrator, and director. After 3 years working on Sylvain Chomet's Oscar nominated feature film, The Illusionist, he cofounded The Line, an animation collective based in London. Together with The Line he directs shorts, music videos, and commercials, as well as providing animation and design services. In 2014 Sam was nominated for a BAFTA together with Bjorn-Erik Aschim for their short film, Everything I Can See From Here. The short garnered a large amount of attention online, and screened at dozens of festivals around the world. He co-hosts The Pegbar and Grill, a podcast about animation together with his friend, and Line cohort, Tim McCourt.
