Golden Cosmos was set up in 2010 as a collaborative moniker for German artistic couple Daniel Dolz and Doris Freigofas. They were both born in 1983 in Germany. Since graduating from "Kunsthochschule Berlin" and the "University of Applied Sciences" in 2010 the Berlin based duo has worked together with The New York Times, The New Yorker, Nobrow, Das Magazin, Büchergilde Gutenberg, and many others. In addition to commissioned work for magazines and publishers they produce limited edition screenprints and books. Their work has been exhibited and awarded internationally.

The concertina "High Times" was published by Nobrow Press in 2012.
It folds out to a 139 cm panorama detailing humanity's quest to conquer the skies.
The book illustrates the history and mythology of flight, from the legendary attempts of Icarus
to the revolutionary innovations of the Jet Age. The wrap-around cover provides educational entries for each panel,
detailing notable benchmarks in the history of aviation.
Project 3 of 3
We did the cover illustration and several inside illustrations for the "Summer Reading Issue" of "The New York Times", published June 2013.
