Conor Byrne is an NYC-based filmmaker and New Jersey native. He graduated from Wesleyan University’s Film Studies program with High Honors along with the Stephen J. Ross Prize for Best Film and the Frank Capra Award for Comedy. He is a recipient of the IFP/Sony Pictures Classics Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film and a National Board of Review grant awardee. Conor’s coming-of-age comedy short, FOUREYES, was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick and Short of the Week. The film has garnered acclaim on outlets like The Huffington Post, The Dissolve, FirstShowing, Directors Notes, and won a 2014 Cannes Lion Young Director Award. His advertising work, including campaigns for Chex Cereal, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Elon Musk’s newly-launched Solar City, has gained widespread international praise. Conor’s much-celebrated Skittles STRUCK BY A RAINBOW mockumentary won two 2015 Cannes Lions and was featured on Adweek, Creativity, AgencySpy, Shots, Shoot, The Wall Street Journal, Campaign, Buzzfeed, and earned him a spot in the SHOOT New Directors Showcase. Conor collaborates with his big brother/producer Tyler under the moniker Brudder Films. He also enjoys pop-punk, gummi bears, the Knicks, and Scorsese.
