Antfood teamed up with Buck to create a fun kids-style opening for this year’s F5 Festival. Utilizing colorful puppets, vintage audio equipment and authentic musical performances, we developed a familiar sonic aesthetic while incorporating modern techniques to ’surprise and delight’ our creative colleagues. We were thrilled to be involved in this audio-driven piece and hope to share our happiness with you! The titles were broken into four concepts: "Puppets," "Faces," "Geometry" and "Instruments." We were responsible for creating all music and sound design, on-location recording, and audio direction.
Directed and Produced by Buck Audio Direction and Production: Antfood Musicians in "Instruments": Stu Bidwell ("Drums" & "Conga"), Brian Kesley ("Bass"), Wilson Brown, Orion Tait, Kitty Dillard ("Moog"), Billy Mack, Chris Phillips, Daniel Offinger ("Knobs")

Close We dug through the darkest recesses of our minds and studio to create original music and sound design for this Buck masterpiece. Working with squirming, analog-tape leeches, moaning coeds, screaming guitar goats, and brain-exploding psychedelia, we were certainly in our element. Plus, it's always fun to rock out and get a little weird for a good cause! Good Books, an online bookseller, passes all of its profits through to Oxfam. Our hats go off to Buck and String Theory.
