Matt Smithson is the man in Man vs Magnet. Upon receiving his masters degree in Motion Graphics/ Broadcast Design at the Savannah College of Art & Design, Matt packed up and moved to the big city of New York in June 2006. Having received numerous awards for his work in animation, Matt has exhibited in various collective shows for both painting, printmaking and motion graphics. He now resides, sleeps, works and surfs in Charleston. Matt draws inspiration from adventures in travel, found objects, and the notion that the human mind is driven by sleep and circumstance.
