Photographer, author and artist for a wide variety of photo-based projects, including digital, short films, books and fine-art installations. Interested in creating compelling narratives with all forms of media. Based in New York City's Union Square. Work explores the emotional charge in daily life objects and settings as well as the intricate relationships between people, architecture and environments. Recent work includes numerous projects shot on assignment, gallery exhibits, photo-based interior installations and six books published by Abrams, Chronicle Books and several fine art publishers. Books include the award-winning "Taxi Driver Wisdom" (Chronicle) and "ABC NYC: A Book About Seeing New York City" (Abrams). On assignment, specialty is in keeping the "real" in produced work. Comfortable shooting within both small and large-scale productions. Extensive experience in natural and created lighting techniques as well as digital pre and post production. Projects have been commissioned by Apple, AT&T, Banana Republic, Crayola, March of Dimes and Marriott Hotels, among many others. Recent projects include The Alphabet City, currently being expanded, as well as several large photographic interior installations. Work recognized with numerous national awards including Art Directors Club (former ADC Young Gun), HOW Magazine, Photo District News, Graphis, Communication Arts and the AIGA.
