I’m a dad, husband, draftsman, street cyclist, and snowboarder. I’m also the Director of Design Strategy and Innovation at Anomaly, a cross-discipline creative shop headquartered in New York. I am currently building and integrating a design practice within the group. Prior to joining Anomaly, I was one of the founding members of Johnson & Johnson’s Global Strategic Design Office, the first dedicated design organization in the company’s more than 125-year history. The group’s mission is to re-imagine the company’s brands, create new ones, uncover new value in the portfolio, and implement sustainable design practices. I was lucky to have lead a brilliant team of designers, copywriters, strategists, and industrial designers who helped me integrate design methods and practices into a unified approach to all brand experiences. Before J&J, I was design director for marketing and brand communications with the Museum of Modern Art and P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center, where I helped re-launch the Museum in 2004 in its new building. In my spare time I’m the design guy for a Botánica up in the Bronx.
