Mike Perry: Pop-Up Gallery Closing
Join YG6 Mike Perry tonight for the closing celebration of his 3 month pop-up gallery.
Since opening on September 15 Wondering Around Wandering has hosted more than 3,000 visitors, ran 13 workshops, 2 performances, 1 film screening, 2 school groups, and multiple neighbourhood events. It has hosted 3 group shows with more than 150 artists, sold 65 works of art and everything was free to the public (except for the art sales, that is).
“It has been a life changing experience” says Mike, “and to bring it to a close we are going big with 3 bands, cocktails, and most importantly a fundraising gala to support Sandy Relief Efforts. We have partnered with local charity New York Cares as the beneficiary of proceeds.”
